Timeline Overview
- 2021 – Acquired Jiangsu Hyundai –Began to deepen its upstream and downstream industrial chain (HongjiMetal Suzhou established).
- 2020 – Acquired the automobile parts business of Changhong (merged into Jiading factory in 2022)
- 2018 – In November 2018, Mr. Steven Xie set out to establish Hongji (Suzhou) Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., a modern production base, to amplify their production capabilities. With a substantial investment of 105M USD allocated for the plant, this strategic move aimed to meet the increasing market demands and expand its operational footprint.
- 2015 – Established Hongji Metal USA LLC
- 2014 – Shanghai Hongji was awarded certification as a second-level supplier of SGM
- 2011 – Established Jiangsu Hongji Metal; began to supply to domestic automobile customer
- 2010 – Began supplying Sino-Japan and Sino-Germany in the automobile sector | Achieved ISO/TS16949:2009 certification
- 2008 – Commenced the supply of fasteners to Sino-US automobile customer
- 2004 – Entered into the fitness equipment industry
- 2003 – Expansion into the lock industry; began exploring new fields to support additional plants
- 2001 – Initiated the supply of fasteners for lock products
- 2000 – Shanghai Hongji Metal was established
