Currently, Hongji Metal Product Co., Ltd. owns nearly 100 national patents, including four invention patents, and also possesses the German EESY-FORM simulation experiment system technology, with more than 20 years of R&D experience.
The company holds the status of a Shanghai high-tech enterprise, a specialty enterprise, a district-level technology centre, and a “small giant enterprise” in Jiading District. The local government has awarded it the Advanced Private Enterprise Award, the Best Innovation Award, and the Excellent Enterprise Award for 13 consecutive years.
Hongji currently has five production facilities. They are located in Shanghai Jiading, Jiangsu Taicang, Jiangsu Dafeng, Jiangsu Yancheng and Tecate, Mexico, with the 6th production facility to open in 2024 and located in Saltillo, Mexico. With over 1,000 dedicated employees worldwide.

- In March 2018, Shanghai Hongji Metal Products Co., Ltd. was selected as the Shanghai Harmonious Labour Relations Standard Enterprise by the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, the Shanghai Federation of Enterprises, the Shanghai Entrepreneurs Association, and the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce.
- In January 2019, Shanghai Hongji Metal Products Co., Ltd. was awarded the 2018 Best Innovation Award by the Management Committee of Jiading New Town and the People’s Government of Malu Town, Jiading District.
- In November 2019, Shanghai Hongji Metal Products Co., Ltd. was awarded the Lean and Innovation Alliance Governing Unit by the Lean and Innovation Alliance.
- In January 2020, Allegion awarded the Power Through Partnership 2019 Supplier Award to Shanghai Hongji Metal Products Co., Ltd.
- In January 2020, Shanghai Hongji Metal Products Co., Ltd. was awarded the Best Innovation Award of 2019 by the Management Committee of Jiading New City and the People’s Government of Malu Town, Jiading District.
- In January 2020, Shanghai Hongji Metal Products Co., Ltd. was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award by China Fastener Industry Xiangjia.
- In February 2020, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology selected Shanghai Hongji Metal Products Co., Ltd. as a Specialized and New SME (2020-2021) in Shanghai.
- In December 2022, Shanghai Hongji Metal Products Co., Ltd. donated 50,000 RMB to the Red Cross Society of Xinshao County to prevent and control the COVID epidemic in Xinshao County.
- In 2023, Jiangsu Hongji Metal Products Co., Ltd. was listed on the 2023 Provincial Engineering and Technology Research Centers list. Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology announced the acceptance result of the 2023 Provincial Engineering and Technology Research Centers.
- In December 2022, Hongji (Suzhou) Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. donated 100,000 RMB to the Red Cross Society of Xinshao County to prevent and control the Covid epidemic in Xinshao County.
- Jiangsu Hongji, a subsidiary of Hongji Metals, was rated as one of the only enterprises in Dafeng District, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, which had the acceptance result of Qualified.
- In 2023, Hongji (Suzhou) Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hongji Group, was awarded the honour of 4-Star Cloud Enterprise in Jiangsu Province.
- In 2023, Hongji’s CEO, Steven Xie, was awarded the title of Jiading Elite Talent and Excellent Entrepreneur by Jiading District.
- In 2023, Jiangsu Hongji Metal Products Co., Ltd. was also awarded as a Jiangsu high-tech enterprise. Also, in 2023, Hongji (Suzhou) Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. was listed on the 2023 Suzhou City-level Model Intelligent Workshop List, announced by Suzhou City, and was awarded the Automotive Parts Intelligent Production Workshop.
